1 in 20 Belgians is confronted with colon cancer. Fortunately, there is a great chance of recovering if you act quickly. Information and education are therefore the best weapons in the fight against this disease. But taking action costs money. That’s why Stop Darmkanker (Stop Colon Cancer) did a unique fundraising. One where you can make the biggest difference in your smallest room.
Because for once we do something we normally only do at some public toilets: pay for our toilet visits. The toilet lady on duty: our ‘ScanMadam’ (Scan Lady), the face of the campaign. You pay by ordering a poster of this Scan Lady for free and hanging it next to your toilet. After every visit to the toilet you can scan the poster and make a small donation. Many small and large donations add up.
This campaign is kicked off by a launch video. A unique radio broadcast on JOE, multiple promotional stands in shopping malls, several headlines in the news and thousands of euros collected, followed.
